Hello all, Joey here.
I have recently arrived back in the UK after 22 years in the USA (San Francisco Bay Area and Oregon). I grew up in Gower, West Glamorgan, and am glad to be back in Britain, but since it's been so long, I don't know anyone in the UK any more and need to integrate into my new community. I'm staying in Bush Bank temporarily, but am looking for a room or flat to rent in Hereford or close, so I can stay near this area. I have not yet got a car or a phone, so I really am starting at Square One, which is always refreshing.
I am a passionate advocate and have dedicated myself to gender issues with my clients and in other capacities both personal and professional. I am 46 now, and have identified as neutrois since I became aware of the term, but always as "not male and not female" until the appropriate term appeared in our lexicon.
I know I missed the Out in the Sticks celebrations; I only arrived 5 days ago and was disappointed to find I had missed a super important event, but oh well, there'll be others.
So that's about the size of it for now. Please say "hi" if you want. Otherwise I am sure I'll run into some of you out and about in the near future, and I look forward to that
